Established over 3 decades ago, GPRI today is a professional technical laboratory operating in an independent complex at Cuddalore, Tamilnadu. GPRI’s Vision is to provide excellence in service in the quality and technology enhancement of electrical and related products through test and performance evaluation. it is an NABL, Govt of India, accredited Test and Certification Laboratory complying to ISO / IEC 17025 : 2005 requirements with comprehensive EHV and Mechanical test facilities for tests on electrical and mechanical products. It is one of the largest high voltage laboratories in South India. Product evaluation; test and design verification; product certification; and R&D related to high voltage and other products are undertaken in the laboratory to comply to National & International Standards, and also in accordance with special customer requirements. The laboratory serves the test requirements of products rated up to 400kV system voltage and serves the quality requirements of industries and also power utilities throughout India. Its test reports are widely accepted and used by its customers for obtaining quality approvals from various agencies. GPRI provides expert service at very competitive and affordable cost and in a very quick time.
